Varsity Pictures, the company who teamed up with Disney to produce the currently filming television show “Sonny with a Chance” starring Demi Lovato, is bringing to the big screen a new project called “Jailhouse Rock”. Brian Robbins who was previously behind Disney’s Shaggy Dog remake and just finished Starship Dave with Eddie Murphy will direct, and his career is on the fast track. This film is in development and the casting details will be posted here soon.
